Research

Research Interests

I am a Data Scientist and Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physicist. I completed my PhD in the Carl E. Ravin Advanced Imaging Lab, led by Ehsan Samei.

My doctoral research was focused on new ways to assess the quality of x-ray-based medical imaging. My dissertation, focused on the development and application of novel metrics of medical image quality which are clinically-focused and measured directly from patient images. I am also interested in how we use metrics of quality along with radiation dose to inform and impact clinical practice.
